HireMeMate is a web application I designed and developed to help job seekers use AI to polish their CVs and organize their job applications. To launch the app, I needed to break through the noise of standard software ads. I produced a promotional video combining stop motion animation with motion graphics. This creative approach transformed a standard administrative tool into a visually engaging story, proving that even "utility" web apps can have a vibrant brand personality.
HireMeMate is a web app that helps job seekers improve their CVs with AI and track their applications. The challenge was marketing a "utility tool." Screen recordings of text editors and dashboards are dull and fail to capture attention on social media. I needed a visual language that made the stressful process of job hunting feel manageable, structured, and even fun.
I used stop motion animation to create a physical metaphor for the app's value. Instead of just showing code or AI algorithms, I used tangible objects to visualize the concept of "building" a better profile. This approach turned a dry web application into a dynamic, playful visual experience, helping to humanize the AI technology and differentiate the brand in a crowded "job tech" market.
